Bio:

I graduated with a BS in Geobiology from Brown University in 2021 and have research experience in biogeochemistry and environmental remote sensing. In my senior thesis, I used a thirty-year time series of Landsat imagery to detect and track agricultural land abandonment in Bosnia, and at my previous position in the NASA DEVELOP program, my team and I used radar remote sensing data to investigate wetland dynamics in the Maya Forest. I’m really interested in thinking about how human societies relate to nature and how conservation efforts can (and always should) actively involve human dimensions and environmental justice values.

Area of Interest:
Science communication, remote sensing, conservation, GIS, environmental education
